Sportsman's Dinner |
 What a fantastic
evening at Mere Golf & Country Club for the 2010
Sportsman's Dinner. 105 guests attended a superb
evening in very classy surroundings. A gourmet
dinner was followed by the excellent speaker
Mike Watkinson, hilarious comedian Aidan Murphy
and a raffle and auction.
The end result
was a great evening, and a profit of £2200
towards club funds. A big Chelford pat on the
back for the Club Chairman John Kilroe, for his
efforts in organising a superb evening. Pictures

Junior section re-launch |
|
We are
re-launching the junior section on Saturday 10th
April. Obviously we need to attract youngsters
to come and join us, and therefore we need to
find them. As such we are leaflet dropping
households local to the club. This is where we
need your help. Leaflet teams need to be
organised to post our "flyers". If you can spare
a few hours to help out and get fit let

and we are looking
for new players to come and join us.
We run two league teams on Saturday's, a
Sunday team. So if you are new to the area,
fancy a change of club, are a junior player, or
are taking up the game again, then get in touch
